Adult Day Treatment Program

The Adult Day Treatment Program / Adult Partial Hospital Program (APHP) ) is an intensive program of group therapy on an outpatient basis intended primarily as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or as a transition from the hospital into the community.  Using a combination of therapeutic and educational activities, APHP seeks to provide symptom relief to improve function and to enhance overall wellness.

Treatment in APHP is completely voluntary.  It is a time limited, intensely goal oriented program that relies heavily on personal commitment.  The program emphasizes a multi-disciplinary team approach under psychiatric supervision.

Adult Partial Hospital/Day Treatment Program offers group therapy, Psychosocial education and individual supportive services are also available.

The program runs Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Referral from a psychiatrist is needed.

For more information about the program or to see if someone is an appropriate referral, please call the Director of the program, Sean C. Terry, Psy.D., at 563-888-6261.
